Her passion for the Arts spilled over in her work as a librarian. She exposed her students to all sorts of art forms through reading, writing and the use of the Acadiana Center for the Arts and PASA.She sponsored the NHS Literary Club whose core mission was to bring alive the Arts. Opening the eyes, minds, and hearts of young people to the beauty of the Arts is a phenomenal experience and one that she strives to continue pursuing. She knows she can do this if she keeps her favorite scripture in mind “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippian
