Tynese Breaux is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and currently resides in Lafayette, Louisiana. She is an alumnus of Florida A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (1994) and Louisiana State University where she obtained a Master’s of Science in Social Work (2004).

She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. She is a Clinic Manager at Dr. Joseph Henry Tyler Jr. Behavioral Health Clinic. She started her career at Tyler Behavioral Health as a MSW Intern and has progressed to the title of Clinic Manager. She enjoys working with the clients they service, assisting with building the careers of newly licensed social workers, and assisting with the professional and personal growth of the staff she manages.

Tynese was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Ⓡ, Eta Chi Omega Chapter 2006. This past September she reached 15 years of active membership with ECO. She is currently the second vice president of the chapter; Throughout her 15 years of service she has served as Recording Secretary, Parliamentarian, Chairman of ASCEND and Community Service Committee.

She is most passionate about the #CAP target. She shares, “I believe we as adults have a responsibility to help in developing our youth. They are our future.” Her hopes and goals are to continue to reach out to not only youth who are excelling, but the youth who need mentorship so that they can recognize their potential, and have someone nurture their potential so that it can grow. She believes many of our youth are impacted by poverty, disparities, and family dysfunction and their lights are diminished before they can spark. She is hopeful that #CAP can help keep that light burning and growing.

Tynese is the oh so beautiful wife of David Breaux and mother of Kendall Breaux, Kelsey Breaux. She also shares her love with her pet dog, Oliver. In addition, to spending time with her family she enjoys attending Saints games, traveling, and reading.
